Actus was an early pioneer in upcycling. When Actus was founded in the 1940s, whey from cheesemaking was considered waste and dumped. Today, Actus is the largest whey processor in North America.
WATER USAGE
Actus Nutrition operates on water surplus, meaning we strive to put back more water in our communities than what we use for our operations.
FREIGHT
We are always looking for new ways to take trucks off the road and use our resources more efficiently. Actus has made great strides in reducing its impact from transportation.
