How We Contribute: Water Recycling, Water Surplus
Water is a vital resource that we all share. Many Actus Nutrition facilities are proud to be water neutral or have a surplus, meaning they have a net zero water usage or return more water than they withdraw on an annual basis.
How We Contribute: Renewable Energy Use
Actus put in great efforts into increasing the share of renewable electricity used in our operation.
We support renewable energy and the growth of solar resources in the region with participation in a local community solar program at our Clara City, MN location. Our involvement helps advance clean energy solutions and contributes to reducing global carbon emissions and building a more sustainable future.
We’re proud to announce the development of a solar energy project at our Visalia, CA facility. This undertaking marks a significant step toward expanding renewable energy within our operations. The system is expected to be operational by end of 2027, delivering clean electricity directly to our site and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.

Since 2021 Actus Nutrition has been a proud adopter of the U.S. Dairy Stewardship Commitment, the industry’s framework for advancing progress in Animal Care, Environmental Stewardship, Food Safety, and Community Contributions. By aligning with this unified standard of continuous improvement and credible reporting, we help drive dairy’s shared progress and reaffirm our commitment to Transparency, Responsible Practices, and Long-Term Sustainability.
These commitments are guided by the material issues identified through our Materiality Assessment, ensuring they reflect the priorities of our business and stakeholders.
